Preparedness Essentials Packet

This emergency preparedness packet contains several pages of resources, including...

  1. Preparedness Essentials checklist – contains information about the three steps shared today: get a kit, make a plan, and be informed. It also points to resources and contains additional information about communication and disaster stress.
  2. Earthquake checklist – contains information for how to stay safe during and prepare before an earthquake
  3. 21 Weeks to Prepare – a list of items needed for an emergency kit, spread out for a 21-week long collection period. This helps those who want to build their own kit but need to spread the spending out over a longer period of time rather than all at once
  4. Home Fire Escape Plan – A grid used to map out escape routes from each room in the home to allow for a quick home fire escape
  5. Emergency Contact Card – a small card used to write contact information and keep on hand for emergencies
  6. Emergency App Flyer – a flyer about the phone app shared during the presentation
  7. Smoke Alarm flyer – a flyer for how to request a free smoke alarm appointment
