The evolution of a new era of Advocacy Meetings happened January 2023 after returning fully from COVID times. LSC Ruby observed and noted everyone's feedback regarding on their goals for the new year by continuing to learn about their rights from PCCP and HCBS but make it more fun and engaging for everyone. The first members of the committee were Maureen, Connie, Travon, Sebastian, Santee, Sam and Ryan for two years. The team soon expanded this year with Genaro starting in February and Andrea in April; planning together spectacular meetings followed by cultural luncheons! The team blossomed together by helping one another brainstorm ideas to discuss HCBS Rights, safety, fun facts of the month, celebrate birthdays of the month, perfect attendance, special announcements and created activities/tournaments. 

Our goal within Advocacy Committee is to ensure our voice and choices are louder than being judged from the outside because TOGETHER WE CAN!
