Learn how to fold beautiful origami creations for the holidays

Art, Intermediate, Materials, Hands-on

About the Event

Origami, the ancient Japanese art of paper folding, is a wonderful way to add a personal touch to your holiday decorations and gifts. With just a few simple folds, you can transform a plain piece of paper into a beautiful creation that captures the spirit of the season.

What You Need
  1. Origami Paper: While any paper can theoretically be used, origami paper is specifically designed for this craft. It's thin, holds creases well, and often comes in a variety of vibrant colors and patterns. If you don't have origami paper, you can use regular printer paper cut into perfect squares.
  2. A Clean Surface: Ensure you have a flat, clean surface to work on, as precision is key in origami.
  3. Patience and Practice: Origami requires focus and practice. Be patient with yourself as you learn new folds and techniques.
